USVI Offshore Sales Ambassador at CHICOS

DID YOU KNOW - In November 2021, Ms. Counts and a contingent from the USVI Department of Tourism represented the USVI at the Caribbean Hotel and Operations Summit (CHICOS) at the Baha Mar Hotel in Nassau, Bahamas. “I’m always excited to represent the US Virgin Islands. I was able to meet, engage and connect with international hoteliers, Bahamian locals and hospitality professionals,” said Ms. Counts. CHICOS 2021 featured conference information on current tourism trends in the hotel, airline and hospitality industries; and also showcased the US Virgin Islands. The USVI’s Commissioner of Tourism, Joesph Boschulte was recognized for the USVI’s excelling performance as a primary Caribbean tourism destination during the Covid-19 pandemic.
